Sheffield Food Assistance Program

The Sheffield Food Assistance Program consistently helps 40-plus households supplement their food dollars.  It is all about giving.  Donations of food from our neighbors, the weekly efforts of our volunteers, and money from many sources all allow the work to continue—now going into our 29th year.
Donations this calendar year have been generous, almost matching our expenditures.

Food Program at Old Parish Church

Food donations come from collections by the churches, the banks, Kiwanis, Scouts, postal carriers, Berkshire Humane Society, and IGA in Hillsdale; from Guido's, Big Y, the Great Barrington Bagelry and Price Chopper.  Food donations may be made at the Sheffield branch of Berkshire Bank during the week.

Christ Trinity Church

                      BE OUR GUEST
Christ Trinity Church is a fairly unique congregation.  Our current congregation was born when Trinity Lutheran Church began worshiping and serving with Christ Episcopal Church over a decade ago.  Since that time the two congregations have become woven into one, still fully connected with The Episcopal Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.  We worship together each Sunday using a blend of the traditions of both denominations.  We serve together out in the community and out in the world.  We are one church, welcoming, open and affirming of all people.  Here you can be yourself regardless of label.  Episcopalian if you like.  Lutheran if you want.   Lutherpalian if that fits.  Or, like many of us,  still searching along the way.
