Memorial Day in Sheffield

Ask any kid where the Sheffield Memorial Day Parade ends each year, and they’ll say, “At the Hot Dog Church!” What started out ten years ago as providing water to thirsty marching band members, has evolved into our own version of the Feeding of the Multitudes. At the end of the parade, the entire community crosses from Barnard Park to our front lawns and we feed them – the band kids first, or course – hotdogs, chips & water. Five hundred hotdogs this year!
