Christ Trinity Church, Sheffield, MA
Christ Trinity Church is a very active participant in the local and surrounding communities of the southern Berkshires. Locally, we are part of the annual community Holiday Tree Lighting/Lessons and Carols Service, where we lead a community choir; we are a sponsor of the Sheffield Farmers' Market each year, helping to underwrite the costs of this community event dating back to the 1700s; our members volunteer at the Sheffield Food Pantry; we financially support the band program at the Middle and High School; we are a sponsor and exhibitor at the Sheffield Fair and Celebration; we have a very well-attended free community picnic on Memorial Day, when the parade ends just opposite our building; and we serve a meal for about 80 people once every six weeks as part of Breaking Bread Kitchen.
Regionally, members volunteer for the Great Barrington Food Pantry, we are members of Berkshire Interfaith Organizing; and supporters of Construct Inc., an organization which provides housing assistance, especially to women and children in need.
