Sheffield Food Assistance Program The Sheffield Food Assistance Program consistently helps 40-plus households supplement their food dollars. It is all about giving. Donations of food from our neighbors, the weekly efforts of our volunteers, and money from many sources all allow the work to continue—now going into our 29th year.
Donations this calendar year have been generous, almost matching our expenditures. |
Food Program at Old Parish Church |
Food donations come from collections by the churches, the banks, Kiwanis, Scouts, postal carriers, Berkshire Humane Society, and IGA in Hillsdale; from Guido's, Big Y, the Great Barrington Bagelry and Price Chopper. Food donations may be made at the Sheffield branch of Berkshire Bank during the week.
